Asante Kotoko defender Joseph Ablorh insists his side won’t underrate Young Apostles, who are yet to hit the ground running in their debut Ghana Premier League campaign.

Young Apostles are yet to pick a win in the domestic top-flight, losing one and drawing one after two games into the season. They suffered a 2-0 defeat to Nsoatreman FC in the season opener followed by a pulsating goalless draw against Nations FC at home last Sunday.

The club faces a daunting task this weekend as they travel to face the Porcupine Warriors in matchday three at the Obuasi Len Clay. The Porcupine Warriors have relocated to Obuasi following the closure of the Baba Yara Stadium.

Speaking to the club’s media, Ablorh, who joined Kotoko in the summer transfer window affirmed his outfit will not underestimate their opponent.

“We are going all out against Young Apostles. For sure, we will secure the three points. We are not going to underrate them. If we are even playing a Colts team, we will not underrate them” he said.

Ablorh partnered with Sudan international Samba O’Neil at the heart of defence in their opening game against Karela United. The duo delivered an outstanding performance, curtailing their opponent from scoring.

Young Apostles are 14th on the league standings with just a point after two games while Kotoko has three points from a game.
