Retired Ghanaian boxer Braimah Kamoko, known as Bukom Banku, has denied ever using 'juju' or seeking help from anyone to achieve his superstar status.
He emphasized that throughout his boxing career, he has relied solely on God for support and assistance in times of need.
Bukom Banku stated that he never sought spiritual protection or any form of medicine for success in his boxing career.
"Who can claim they gave me medicine [juju] to support my superstar status? I don't like that. It's only God I know," Bukom Banku said in a video shared by blogger Sammykaymedia on Instagram on August 14, 2024.
He also clarified that he does not engage in criticizing people on social media, unlike some other famous personalities in the country.
"I don't talk about people's issues on social media because every woman is my mother and every man is my father. I love everybody in this nation," the boxer added.
Bukom Banku is celebrated as one of Ghana's best boxers, having won numerous bouts both locally and continentally.
His highly publicized victory over fellow boxer Ayittey Powers remains one of his most memorable achievements.
