Technical director of Inter Allies Football Club, Willie Klutse is calling for a wider tv coverage for the upcoming league season, adding that it will give the outside world the chance to scout players.

The Ghana Premier League which kicks off on Saturday has StarTimes as the media right holders an action that means that they will telecast most of of the matches to the world.

But Willie Klutse wants more. “We need more tv coverage of the league so that scouts who cant come down to Ghana, can sit in the comfort of their countries and see our players”, he told www.442gh.com.

According to him, the more the outside world gets to see Ghana Premier League players, the more Clubs can sell and make more money.

He revealed that former Inter Allies player, Ropapa Mensah who now plies his trade in the USA, was scouted through television coverage on Supersport two seasons ago and expects more of such in the coming season.
