Wise hold Fauzan F/C

Kasoa (C/R), Aug. 4, GNA--Western Show Boys, Sekondi Eleven Wise played a determined game to hold local Fauzan F/C to a goalless draw game in their Division One League match played at Kasoa in the Central Region on Saturday.

It was Wise who made several incursions into their opponents vital area in the grater part of the first half but failed to score. Disaster soon struck Wise when their left full back Mark Addo was shown the red card for dangerous play in the 25th minute but Fauzan failed to capitalised on their numerical strength to score till half time.

In the 48th minute Patrick Seah of Wise was also shown the red card for rough play but the homesters did not make any use of their strength as Wise defenders managed to thwart all the efforts of Fauzan attackers at goal.

Vipers and Iron Fighters draw



Cape Coast, Aug. 4, GNA - Cape Coast Venomous Vipers held Takoradi Iron Fighters to a 1- 1 draw in the their division one league match played at Cape Coast stadium today.

Iron Fighters attacked first and opened the scoring through the centre half Nana Amissah in the 17th minute.

Undaunted by this set back Vipers returned the attack and after dictating the pace of the game levelled up through their centre forward Emmanuel Sapey in the 45 minute. There were no scores in the first half. 04 Aug. 2003
