WorldRemit, the leading digital money transfer service, has signed a deal with Pan-African broadcaster Kwesé TV to use the power of football to scale up its global operations and help more people save money on international transfers. This deal will see WorldRemit feature on Kwesé’s sports content platform, Kwesé Sports, during the FIFA World Cup™, English Premier League and Carabao Cup broadcasts, offering incredible exposure of the brand.
The partnership brings the company redefining broadcasting in Africa, together with the leading African disruptor in the remittance sector, WorldRemit. As part of the deal, WorldRemit’s TV commercials will appear during the FIFA World Cup™ game broadcasts on Kwesé Sport from Thursday 14 June to Sunday 15 July 2018.
During this time, WorldRemit will also be giving away multiple prizes of $1,000 to both senders and recipients of remittances sent through WorldRemit - helping people across Africa and around the world to achieve their goals.
Thanks to numerous sub-license deals for the world’s largest football tournament, Kwesé Sports will provide access to an estimated viewership of around 160 million viewers across the continent.
