Having scored the first hat-trick in the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League, Aduana Stars forward Yahaya Mohammed look forward to maintaining his form until the end of the season.

The striker scored thrice as Aduana Stars hammered Inter-Allies 6-0 at the Nana Agyemang Badu I park on Sunday.

The goals also sees him as joint top scorer with Medeama striker Kwame Boateng who also has three goals to his credit.

Yahaya Mohammed has vowed to maintain his goal scoring form.

“It is a good feeling, scoring three goals today, I am very excited about that,” he told the media after the game.

“I will make sure I continue with this performance, is my target to scorer in every game.

“But that comes with a lots of work and I must work towards that.

“If I had my way I will like to score a hat-trick in every game I play for Aduana, but obviously that is not possible.

The 27-year-old was also named the most outstanding player on the pitch.

Aduana Stars re-signed Yahaya Mohammed after who returned after a spell in Tanzania.

The former Asante Kotoko player was the second top scorer in the Ghana Premier League two seasons ago before leaving to Azam FC in Tanzania.

Aduana Stars meanwhile moved to ninth on the League table with 4 points and an outstanding match to play.

Coach Yusif Abubakar and his team will shift their attention to the CAF Confederations Cup match against Fosa Juniors.
