One-time Ghana Premier league hotshot Yahaya Mohammed will be eligible to play for Dormaa-based Aduana Stars the coming season after the arrival of his International Transfer Certificate.
Footballmadeinghana.com can exclusively reveal that Yahaya’s ITC arrived from the Libyan Football Federation on Friday.
The 2009-2010 Ghana Premier League champions signed the burly midfielder-turned attacker on a free transfer last season but inability to secure the player’s international transfer certificate prevented him from playing in the league.
Yahaya, last featured for Libyan giants Ittihad Tripoli but had to cancel the contract later on and returned home because of unpaid salaries and other allowances.
The experienced player who can also operate any where in defense has represented clubs such as Tema Youth, OGC Nice, Real Tamale United, Wa All Stars, Amidaus Professionals and Kumasi Asante Kotoko where he last played before leaving Ghana in 2014.
