Accra, Nov. 22, GNA - Ghana's Super Bantamweight boxing contender, Jonathan Yartey left Accra last Saturday for South Africa to engage in a ten-round boxing contest against Gabula Vadaza of South Africa. The contest is scheduled for East London, South Africa on Friday, November 28.
Yartey left in the company of his manager, Mr Yoofi Boham and trainer Emmanuel Teiko Tagoe, popularly known in boxing circles as "Akisseh".
The fight forms part of the Ghanaian boxers' preparation towards other championship bouts in the near future.
He is expected to return by the close of the week to take up other local bouts to find-tune his reflexes.
