Management of Accra Hearts of Oak is expected to meet this week to appoint a new coach ahead of the new season.

The Phobians are currently without a Coach after the sudden resignation of their stop gag coach, Yaw Preko who exited the club last Friday.

The ex- Black Stars winger unexpectedly handed his resignation letter to the management of the club for personal reasons last Friday which has been accepted by the hierarchy of the Capital-based Club.

Speaking to Ghanasportsonline.com, the Communications Director of the Rainbow club, Kwame Opare Addo hinted that the timing for the exit of the Ghana U20 deputy Coach will negatively affect the team’s preparation ahead of the new season especially, the G6 tournament but the management will be hasten to meet this week to find successor in order to forestall the potential doom of the club ahead of the new season.

’’ It is true that Yaw Preko has resigned as the coach of Hearts of oak but management will meet this week to name the new coach of hearts to start preparing the team for the new season especially, the G6 mini- tournament’’. He revealed to Ghanasportsonline.com in an interview.

Hearts is likely to name local coach as a successor of Yaw Preko.
