Yaw Preko is set to become the new head coach of Nsoatreman FC after signing a two-year deal with the club, Ghana's leading football website, GHANAsoccernet, can exclusively report.

Preko replaces Maxwell Konadu, who left Nsoatreman earlier in the week to join the South African second-tier side Black Leopards on a three-year deal.

Konadu, in the just-ended campaign, won the MTN FA Cup with Nsoatreman, leading the club to their first-ever trophy and was set to lead their debut CAF Confederation Cup campaign. However, he agreed to part ways amicably with the club.

Confident in their plans, Nsoatreman swiftly appointed Preko, who brings a wealth of experience to the role.

The former Ghana U-20 gaffer has previously coached Hearts of Oak and King Faisal and was last with Medeama.

Preko will relish the opportunity to lead Nsoatreman's historic African campaign.

In addition to his new role, Preko will continue his duties as the coach of the Ghana U-15 boys national team, having been appointed earlier.

Nsoatreman and their fans are excited to see what Preko can bring to the club as they embark on their journey in African football.
