Yaw Yeboah eyes development at French side Lille

Ghana U-20 star Yaw Yeboah says he is hoping to continue his development as a player at French side Lille after securing a year loan deal.

The 19-year-old sealed a one year loan deal with French ligue 1 side on Wednesday from Manchester City.

Yaw who is originally a Manchester City player will play under former Ghana deputy coach Harve Renard who last year won the Africa cup of nations with Ivory Coast in Equatorial Guinea.

He was the best player during the Africa youth championship held in Senegal and says he is looking forward to continue his evolution in the French league.

“I am very happy to be playing in the French league and I am hoping that I will be able to get more games that will make me better,” Yaw told GHANAsoccernet.com

“It’s a big move for me and I am looking at full taking advantage.”

Yaw was a member of the Black satellites which reached the round of the 16 during the FIFA U-20 held in New Zealand.
