You ain't seen nothing yet -Kingston

Laryea "Larry" Kingston, the Hearts midfielder, claimed yesterday Scottish football will see the best of him next season.

Speaking from his home in Ghana, Kingston said signing a three-year contract earlier this week with the Tynecastle club was "the best day of my life."

Despite impressing in 11 appearances last season during his loan spell from Terek Grozny, Kingston believes the longer he stays at Tynecastle, the better his form will become.

"I was delighted at how quickly I settled in Edinburgh when I first arrived in Scotland," he said. "I need to keep going and improve on what I did last season for Hearts.

That is my aim and I know I can do that."

The midfielder will be back in Edinburgh for the start of pre-season training on June 23 and he admitted: "My aim is to win things with Hearts, whether it is the league championship or Scottish Cup. I will be working hard and doing my best to help the team win as much as we can.

"Signing for Hearts was the happiest day of my life as I really wanted to secure a permanent deal. This is what happened so naturally I am really delighted to have signed for three years."

The midfielder, 26, proved to be a huge hit during his loan spell from Russian club Terek Grozny in the second half of the season and made the switch to Gorgie a permanent one this week.

The Ghana international was reported to be attracting the interest of clubs in the Barclays Premiership but insists his first choice was always Hearts.
