Former Chief Executive Officer of Accra Hearts of Oak, Harry Zakkour has warned that he will lead supporters to march to the secretariat of the club, to take over Hearts if the former league champions fail to perform in the coming season.

Speaking in an interview, Zakkour, who is on record to have led Hearts to win the CAF Champions League and Super Cup in 2000 and 2001, said the current happenings in the club is a clear indication that, Hearts will continue to struggle in the coming season.

“We don’t have quality players and our coach does not look like someone who can do the job".

“I followed eight matches of the club last season just to ensure we survive the league and the Board Chairman did not even call to thank me".

“I will not do that again in the coming season but if the club continue to struggle in the coming season, then we will have no option than to march to secretariat to take over.

“Just go to the secretariat and see how dirty the place is. It has not been painted for sometime now and everything looks bad. The club is not going the right direction and we must do something about.” Zakkour noted.

The former CEO said though he brought the current Board Chairman Togbe Afede to the club, he has refused to listen to wise counsel and running the club without any vision.
