Zambia's hitman to miss encounter

Zambia under 23 national football team's chances of an outright victory in this wekend's olympic qualifer against Ghana have been disadvantaged after two players are ruled out of this weekend's game.

According to a Space Fm investigations, monitored in South Africa,Central defender Given Mpundu who plays for supper division side Kabwe Warriors has been ruled out after being hit by a bout of Malaria.

Mpundu who is with the team in South Africa is reported not to have trained with the team yesterday and today(Thursday and Friday).

Delegation leader George Kasengele ( the football association of Zambia committee member) confirmed from South Africa that Mpundu will not play in the weekend's game and that they are making efforts to have the player who is on medication go back to Zambia.

Meanwhile danger man Collins Mbesuma has been ruled out the this weekend's crucial match.

Delegation leader Kasengele says despite the player being with the team in camp on Wednesday and Thursday he will not play saying the injury has not fully healed.
