Essien is a model for Ghanaian athletes. Throughout his career he demonstrated hard work, discipline and above all humility. It is unfortunate that persistent injuries curtailed his career, otherwise he could have taken his game to an even higher level. Kudus needs to watch and learn, and he could be even better than Essien.

For not being g able to Marshall one of the most talented Black Stars group to win any diadem for Ghana was a blunt on his illustrious career. And being part of the 2014 debacle in Brazil without not being g able to advise Asamoah Gyan ld Black Stars to cool it adds to his woes as a National Team player. Essentially failed period.

M Essien like his former colleagues, Anthony Annan never advertised themselves. They did their talking on the pitch, not much dribbling, resilient when the point was tough, no shifting of blame or waiting to make a fake apology for their failure and making fake promises of winning next matches. Appiah, Muntari, J.Mensah
and later KP,, Abayie, Dramani, Habib , Asamoah etc respected and had confidence in themselves.
Kudos
Hehehe the zoo people won’t be happy
I want to pound TRUMU!!!!
