We blundered big time against the Americans and the road to qualification looks foggy and difficult. But for some reason I have a feeling the Black Stars are going to bounce back in style. Even though many mistakes were made in the match against the US, our boys showed a lot of character and fighting spirit. They also created a lot of chances which on a normal day could have scored more than 1 goal. But mother luck appeared to have deserted us on that fateful Monday. Let's hope that Mother Luck which guided us through the difficult qualifying games smiles on us on Saturday. I believe the hard work by Asamoah Gyan and his fellow strikers will have good end product on Saturday unlike what happened on Monday. They are going to find the net. But Heaven helps those who help themselves. So they must first of all keep their focus and concentration throughout the match. What is important is that we don't lose. We should neither rush but take our time and contain the Germans. We can hit them with fast counter attacks and carry the day. May the Almighty send his blessings to the Black Stars in this our hour of dire need.

Reflecting on the painful loss to the US it looks like the heartache that Ghanaians suffered in our last match in South Africa 4 years ago continued into our first match this year. So my prayer is that by the Grace of the Almighty our fortune changes for the best come Saturday bringing hope and joy to long suffering Ghanaians. We should remember that David killed Goliath with only one stone with the help of God when all the people of Lsrael were afraid of him. The same way when we seek the face of God almighty we can defeat the Germans and this is more the reason we should fast & pray for our team.
