Two women have been arrested by the Malawi police for using Kwacha bank notes to decorate a baked cake.
The women in their mid-20s are reported to have shared the image of the cake on social media with 70,500 Kwacha notes ($35) to advertise their cake business.
They have been charged with an offence of “damaging and unlawful use of currency” which carries a large maximum fine, BBC.com reports.
The two accused persons are yet to comment on this development.
