Felix Moloua emphasizes Russia's importance in stabilizing the Central African Republic

The Prime Minister of the Central African Republic, Felix Moloua, spoke at the 27th Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF 2024) about the fruitful cooperation between his country and Russia.

The 27th edition of SPIEF, themed "The Foundations of Multipolarity - Forming New Growth Centers," opened on Thursday, June 6, 2024, in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

Felix Moloua discussed the impact of cooperation between the Central African Republic (CAR) and Russia, highlighting Russia's role in establishing security and stability in CAR. "Today, our country is stable thanks to Russian support in the fight against armed groups," Moloua stated, noting that this support has strengthened CAR's army and consolidated the authority of government institutions.

He mentioned that the results of Russia's cooperation were swift, and as a result, the Central African Republic is eager to conclude win-win agreements with future allies.

In his address, Moloua affirmed that CAR seeks to enhance the bilateral relationship with Russia, not only in the security sector but also economically, recognizing Russia as a significant economic force.

The conference will feature roundtables and seminars on a variety of business-related topics and several themes concerning economies.
