Kenyan Elsa Majimbo has become a social media sensation for her humorous viral video monologues that include her search for a wealthy boyfriend.
In one of her Instagram videos that has attracted more than 300,000 views, the 19-year-old tells the suitor staying at home during the coronavirus not to be "sending hugs, sending money... send money!"
"You want to send useless things and you have my bank details and address?" she adds.
The comedian told local television station NTV that she would prefer being around rich men who could easily create a heaven on earth for her.
"I expect broke men or someone who does not have money not to approach me. I have a type and my type is rich... my dowry is $4m," she said during a satirical show on NTV.
Majimbo's straight talk has earned her the wrath of some Kenyans on social media, who accuse her of being a gold-digger.
But her humour has found fans beyond Kenya via mentions and interviews by personalities and media outlets in the US, South Africa and elsewhere.
She has told the UK's Guardian newspaper that her new-found fame is leading to career opportunities, appearing on Comedy Central, partnering with MAC cosmetics, as well as getting a shout-out from Oscar-winning actor Lupita Nyong'o on Twitter.
