Following the release of some documents revealed by the United States District Court judge from the Northern District of Illinois taking possession of Ahmed Bola Tinubu's money over his involvement in drug trafficking, Nigerians have since taken to social media to react.
The judgement docketed on July 26, 1993, and certified by Thomas O. Burton, the court clerk, indicted Tinubu for heroin trafficking in Illinois through a proxy organisation owned by Adegboyega Mueez Akande.
It was gathered that the funds held by First Heritage Bank and Citibank in trust for Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), were forfeited to the U.S. government for being proceeds of drug-related offences.
Reacting to this 56-page document, some Nigerians took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
@thekaysie: Bola Tinubu was not trading stocks, he was trading drugs. You cannot stop crime by voting for a criminal.
@adaigbo_2022: Abike what you said is true, U.S. have confirmed Bola Tinubu is a drug dealer.
@jacksonpbn: This is Bola Tinubu's DRUG certificate issued to him by the United States for his involvement in Drug trafficking.
When you see his shaky shaky hands and his underwear constantly wet with urine, you know why. Say No to DRUG. Say no to Agbado Republic, say no to APC!

The ignominy that a Bola Tinubu presidency will land Nigeria will be unprecedented.

Imagine being lost in Democracy or Independence Day celebrations, & a U.S. court suddenly releases fresh evidence of your president's past dealings in the banking of proceeds of illicit drug sale????
You just don't need any "certified" court documents to tell you Bola Tinubu @officialABAT is a drug lord and money launderer, some of those sharing this documents today knew @officialABAT has always been a crook and druggie but hypocrisy won't let them accept it then,

This must be a relief for Abike Dabiri. Bola Tinubu has vindicated her that Nigerians traffic drugs.
