Nigerian artiste, Raoul John, popularly known as Skales spoke about his life-changing experience when he was at the lowest points in his life.
He recounted how one phone call from YBNL boss, Olamide changed his life when he was struggling financially after leaving Empire Mates Entertainment (EME) because he wasn’t doing well.
Skales made this known in an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo.
According to the ‘Shake Body’ singer, he became homeless after his former record label, EME refused to renew his contract because the label wasn’t making a profit from investing in him.
His life changed after Olamide called him on the telephone telling him he liked one of his songs titled ‘Shake Body’.
“My deal with them was done and they refused to continue because I wasn’t doing well then.
“Olamide contacted me and said he loved one of my songs, Shake Body, and asked if I wasn’t going to shoot the video. I told him I was homeless and couldn’t possibly shoot a video and he sent me money. My God turned my life around after that video shoot,” he narrated.
