A former federal lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani, has condemned the tons of allegations levelled against the late Nigerian Televangelist, Prophet TB Joshua.
A documentary by the BBC had revealed alleged atrocities committed by the late prophet when he was alive.
According to the documentary released on Monday, no fewer than 25 eyewitnesses accused T.B Joshua of sexual assault, physical abuse, fabricated miracles, and trauma.
The development is currently making the rounds on social media as netizens expressed divergent views on the allegations.
Reacting, Shehu Sani in a post on his official X handle, lamented that the allegations came when the prophet can no longer defend himself.
He urged those who have issues with their religious leaders to speak up when they are still alive.
He wrote, “If you have any issues against your Pastors or Alfas or Imams, please confront them with it when they are alive and not when they are gone and have no right of reply.”
