The song, ‘Ex-Girl’ even though can be described as Afro beat, comes with the unusual 808 drum it rhythm, fused with some rock instruments and percussion giving it a refreshing twist. The instrumentation was mainly produced by K-Hi Bangit and co-produced and created by Lippy.

The two met at Mark view & PM Entertainment Studio in London; where Lippy and K-Hi Bangit among other musicians at the studio were listening and sharing thoughts on beats when the conversation took a personal experience-sharing turn after one of the musicians complained about an ex-girlfriend who had been stalking them respectively.

“And when the subject of ex-girlfriend’s came up, we all shared our diverse experiences and that motivated the just released single, ‘ex-girl’ and we depicted how stalking former partners can be and have been a pain in the neck, one way or the other,” Lippy lamented.

He absolutely loves everything that he does or himself as well as other musicians.
