In this our modern era, music is now looking more and more attractive to the youth  since we are living in the world of  entertainment. Wait till you hear about the new group which is about to enter the music industry with a new grand style. They go by the name Black Symbol (Ahyesondee). These talented dudes and lyrically gifted artistes have a good thing to offer the general public. The sensational artistes term their type of hiplife as ?Asaase Ase Kasahare? which literally means underground rap.

Individually, this group is made up of Eric Adu a.k.a Aregradah, Emmanuel Osei Kumah a.k.a Agyare and Terry Kyei Baffuor. Emmanuel Osei Kumah a.k.a Agyare was born to Mr. Isaac Osei Kumah and Mrs. Comfort Osei Kumah in Kumasi on 3rd November 1980 but hails from

Oseikrom- Asokwa. He had his elementary education at Asokwa Amakom J.S.S in Kumasi and then moved to a high School in Australia.

About Aregradah, he was born to Mr. Yaw Adu and Mrs. Tina Adu in Oseikrom on 23rd July 1979. He also had his elementary education at St. Louis J.S.S in Kumasi and later on went to a high school in Australia. He then pursued a private course in audio engineering and later on went into this Disc Jockeying stuff.

For Terry Kyei Baffuor, he was born in the year 1980 to Mr. and Mrs. Kyei Baffuor in Accra and is a Ga descent.

Talking to Ghanamusic.com, the three young chaps explain how they got into the music industry and why they got into it. It all started way back 1997 when we met each other at a party which was held in Sydney-Australia.  That was where we introduced ourselves to each other and then a deal was in the cooking. Our fame of becoming popular had just started. We therefore thought it nice to join forces together.

We then sat down, planned everything that we were about to do and later on came out with a suitable group name ?Black Symbol?.

These guys have craftily captured the hiphop industry outside and are now set to blaze Ghana with their marvelous performances. They have 12 tracks to their credit on their tremendous album entitled ?Abrabo? (Life).  This album opens with an introduction which lays emphasis on the existence of the group?s name. Second on the album is a lovely track entitled ?Ma Ne Nko? featuring Bob Osae, Mr. Zux and backed by Kukuwa which makes eavesdroppers rewind their cassettes and compact discs two, three or even four times. ?Akwantuo? which is the next track features Bob Osae. This song talks about the hardships in traveling outside. For those of you, who think people traveling outside don?t face difficulties listen to this song and judge for yourself. 

Fourth on the album is Awuraba featuring Cynthia Yaa Sefa and Bob Osae. It talks about a guy who has always been looking at a girl due to the fact that he loves the girl. In short, Black Symbol has got a message in this track for the general public and it goes like ?Go straight to the point in everything that you do?.

There are a number of outstanding and lovely tracks on this album like ?Meka?, which features Bob Osae and Sharon(X Rated), ?Awofoo? featuring Bob Osae which talks about we showing gratitude to our parents for the wonderful things they have done for us. Our parents really deserve it.

?Abrabo?, the title track featuring Bob Osae and Sharon(X Rated) is the seventh on the album and it has this gospel feeling. This track which is soul inspiring moves both Christians and non-Christians dancing to their feet.

Black Symbol who are known to be talented get fans really upbeat with tracks like ?Krokro Me? featuring Kuukuwa, Quami, Bob Osae, Sharon(X Rated), ?Baby? which has this ragga feeling, an ?Outro? which gives shout outs to their other group member Terry, the ?Remix of Baby? featuring Kuukuwa and lastly the ?Remix of Abrabo?. All songs were recorded at Aregradah Studios in Sydney and written by Agyare. This album is executively produced by Aregradah.
