Adwuma Wura Evicted From The Top Ten Competition

The heat is still on and the program is attaining greater heights although there were a lot of controversies surrounding it. The program entered its third week which was also an eviction week and the program took a different dimension this time.

They started as usual with the disc jockey for the night and this time the master mixer and ever conscious Dj Pepsi was in charge and handled affairs perfectly. Our lovely lady Nana Aba Anamoah and Emmanuel Markey were the emcees for the program.

This week?s edition saw the conscious Rasta man emerging first on stage and this time was not about chanting, praying and reggae music but rather this time educating the listeners was the main objective. Blakk Rasta chose the new educational reform and tackled it perfectly.

Ekow Poncho was next and he presented the drive time program and along the line he educated his listeners about the new Ghana cedi and finally signed off with his popular Alhaji music.

The only female in the competition took her turn up stage and as usual the audience screamed and yearned when she appeared. She spoke about domestic violence and she handled it her own way and tackled women who beat their husbands.

Turbo B the gentle dread locks man was next to broadcast live and he educated the audience on road accident. He made mention of hero?s the country has lost through road accident and also blended his education with some music and mixes. Wofa K was present time and dressed in the national colors.

He spoke of the energy crises and his jokes were not left out, he added by saying every Ghanaian should go and buy pure water so we pour it in the dam. He asked the ever popular white man on the screen of TV3 during every live program whether he has no home because he is always there.

Andy Dusty this time never appeared as the master mixer but rather a child of mother Ghana. He started with a prayer from what he terms his child. Andy talked about the golden jubilee celebration and supported his education with a birthday song from Samini which featured Mac Tonto and finally signed off with the national anthem.

The man who started this competition very cool and this time speeding up was next; Mufty Dabre spoke about piracy. This time he appeared very cheerful and all could see he was really in for business. He handled his topic gently and coated the copyright law for offenders caught in that act.

They ended that segment on Mufty and it was eviction time. All were lined up on stage and there was tension in the air on who will be leaving, they all looked at each other and were all nervous. The cat was finally brought out off the bag and Adwuma wura had to leave the competition. He was absent for unknown reasons and so eventually he had to be evicted.

The audience was cool on the bases on which he was evicted and enjoyed every bit of the program. The program is still on going and the text line is one touch short code 1547 and also you can join the studio audience live at studio B at TV3 every Thursday between the hours of 10pm and 11pm.
