Alex Out With 'Ahenfo Mu Hene'

WITH OVER 10 years of experience in the music industry, Alex Agbenyegah has won the hearts of many music lovers with his brand of music.

Alex’s career has been a smooth one, with music fans always appreciating in totality his creativity and stage craft.

His music has always been considered international, with good rhythms to go with it. He always resorts to various themes and antics to convey his message, with appropriate proverbs where necessary, and that always strikes a listener to appreciate his music.

Alex, since the release of his maiden album, has managed to register his presence in the music industry in Ghana, and will soon make an impact with his songs, which are done in Ewe, Ga, Hausa and English.

As a new entrant, Alex shows his versatility by marrying both Twi and his own language, Ewe, in his maiden album titled ‘Ahenfo Mu Hene’.

The eight-track album has all the songs done in Twi except for ‘Worship’, an inspirational track which extols the name of God and is powerful enough to get a listener on his knees in worship.

‘Ahenfo Mu Hene’, the title-track, is another fine song which also lifts God high with the declaration that He is king above all other kings.

All the songs on the album talk about the greatness of God in diverse ways, and the artiste says that is his way of testifying about God’s mercies and grace towards him, despite the difficult times he has been through in life.

25-year-old Alex Agbenyegah hails from Aflao in the Volta Region and is the third of six children born to Mr. Kojo Kalefe.

A product of the National Vocational Training Institute, Alex started writing his own songs a couple of years back for a number of musicians, in order to make some money to pursue his music career.

Some of the songs on the album are ‘Wo Wo Nyame’, ‘Aseda Ye Awurade Wo De’, ‘Wo Nea Awurade Aye’, ‘Ye Nyame Ne Wuo No’ and a remix of ‘Wo Wo Nyame’.
