Appietus explains why he accepted a position from Obour

Appietus Appietus

Celebrated sound engineer, Appiah Dankwah aka Appietus has been chastised by Nana Quame and Mark Okuraku Mantey for accepting a position from Obour whom he contested during the MUSIGA elections.

Nana Quame, a legendary contemporary highlife singer and Mark Okuraku Mantey the programmes coordinator at Hitz Fm said in their respective ways that, Appietus is a hypocrite and isn't a good leader.

Explaining to Dr. Who, host of hot and classic showbiz review on Hot 93.9 FM, in Accra, Appietus lamented that, he accepted the position because the good of MUSIGA is the most significant to him:

"You see some of these things you have to be matured before you can understand them. Contesting Obour doesn't mean we are fighting. There cannot be two political parties within one party. So if Obour has been chosen as the president, I have to help him so that the people who voted would know I really wanted to help the union" Appietus explained.

Appietus continuing his explanation lamented that, he is not the first aspirant to accept a position from his opponent, thus, Nana Quame and Mark Okuraku Mantey should rather congratulate him than to chastise him:

"Those, saying all sort of dubious things about me for accepting the position doesn't know what they're talking about; Look, during campaigns aspirants will never shower praises on his opponent... never can I say Obour is good during an election. Nana Quame and Okuraku Mantey should rather laud me for showing maturity. So is Hilary Clinton also a hypocrite because she accepted a position from Obama? Aww!!! So people wanted me to be fighting with Obour which shouldn't be so. We need to consider the interest of MUSIGA first", Appietus noted with much humane.

Appietus pleaded that he will start working as the 'Talent Discovery and Development Director' of the union from 2016 so people should stop chastising him and rather support him.
