Gospel music has over the last decade stood out as one of the best genre music in the country today. Indeed not a single days passes without a known or hitherto unknown artiste bursting unto the music scene with a release.
The latest to add his name to the already tall list of the country’s gospel artistes is Bernard Amankwah, a member of the International Central Gospel Church. This maiden album, an eleven track compilation titled “Presence” is definitely set to go places.
The title track is currently blazing hot on many of the nation’s radio stations. The album was recently launched at the National Theatre where Bernard took the stage and performed to the admiration of all presence with his 15-member band.
Other supporting artistes who also performed at the launch included Ike Nanor, Pastor Helen Yawson from KICC.
The Guest of Honour Pastor Mensah Otabil, the General Overseer of the IGCC in his speech advised the budding musician to use his chosen career to win more souls for the Kingdom.
The album was recorded under B. A. Ministry, an outfit founded by the musician. Studio engineering was taken up by Zapp Mallet at the Title Studios.
