Master drummer Obo Addy and a group of musicians and dancers from Ghana will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Jacoby Auditorium, 1140 Umpqua College Road, Winchester.
The company celebrates with audiences on a journey through the West African country via music and dance.
In addition to the public concert, a free children's concert is available at 10:30 a.m. the same day. Limited seating; registration is required.
Teenagers through adults can also participate in a drum clinic taught by Obo Addy at 3:30 p.m., also on Wednesday, for $15 on the back stage of Jacoby Auditorium. Checks may be made payable to UCC Fine Arts. A personal drum is not required. Registration is appreciated but not required.
