GOC Grants Permission for Musical Shows

Isaac Abeidu-Aidoo, CEO of Goodies Music Productions The Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) has granted permission to "Goodies Music Productions" to organise two musical shows as part of efforts to raise funds towards Ghana's successful campaign at the Athens 2004 Olympic Games.

The shows are to be staged at the National Theatre and the La Beach on the 26th and 27th of June and are also to mark the launch of TIC TAC's new international Album that will feature the cream of Ghana's musicians as well as some international artists.

Mr. Frank Appiah, First Vice President of the GOC in a release copied to newsmen said the slogan for Ghana's participation at the Games is "Ghana For Gold - Athens 2004".

The Release said Goodies Music Productions are also free to use the three logos of the GOC for their publicity with the understanding that substantial portions of the proceeds from the two events will be donated to the GOC to support the preparations of the sportsmen and women for the games.

Meanwhile, the management of Goodies Music Production has said the launch of the TIC TAC Album, dubbed "WOPE" is to feature an all stars cast of local and international artistes in the two days of consecutive live performances.

Mr. Isaac Abeidu-Aidoo, Chief Executive Officer of Goodies Music Productions said the artistes expected on the Bill include Freddie Mieway of Cote D"Ivoire, Tony Tetuila and Alariwo of Nigeria, VIP, Obrafo, Sidney and Tinny.

The rest of the artistes are Buk Bak, Antwi ne Antwi, Sony Achiba, Mapuka Dancers and Michael Jackson look alike.

Mr. Abeidu-Aidoo assured the music-loving public of an all round entertaining good music and urged the expected large audience to endeavour to comport themselves.
