I don't do 'fried rice' music - Iwan brags

Iwan Iwan

Dancehall and Reggae artiste, Abdul Razak Issahaku popularly known as Iwan (I-Win-Always-Naturally), has said his style of music is not one that dies away so easily.

“I don’t do ‘Friedrice’ music that is why my songs last for a lifetime and they don’t easily disappear like other songs.”

Speaking to Kojo Preko Dankwa on Kasapa Entertainment on Kasapa 102.3 FM, Iwan revealed that though he has been through a lot in his career as a musician, God being his pillar he has glided through the hard times in his music endeavour.

The Lyrical Gunshot who is currently promoting his current song labelled ‘Dagomba Girl’ disclosed that in April this year he will embark on Peace Tour.

According to Iwan, the Peace Tour train which hosts top-notch musicians both in Ghana and outside will start from the Northern sector through to the Southern part of Ghana with a focus on the public to appreciate the significance and uphold peace during the November 7 general elections.

“I have a project which is a Peace Tour coming in April this year which popular artistes from Ghana and outside Ghana will join me.

“we all believe music is a strong tool that can be used to preach peace. My expectation after the tour is that the public will understand the Peace we are enjoying and not to be divided by political affiliation during the election period.”
