The Lyrical Gunshot Iwan has spoken after being on the quiet for some time. The ‘Thanks and Praise’ singer features Luther on this one and after a careful listen, one cannot help but appreciate Iwan’s offering on ‘No Long Talk’.
Luther let it be known that lyrically they are insane adding their vibes are intellectually great. Luther offers some strong vibes in Ga, Pidgin and English in addition to pleasant singing.
He notes that ‘young cats’ ought to respect their elders and not rush in claiming knowledge as one could be humble yet strong. Clearly the young warrior is one to watch for the future.
The Gideon Force general indicates that: “de ghetto youth know me know, me no want no long talk, Newtown know me know, Dagbon world mi know”.
He adds that he never sells out warning those sabotaging him to be weary stressing that the Dagbon warrior is never afraid. Iwan notes that from day one his lyrics are always ‘tighter and sicker’.
In Iwan’s estimation most artiste are hypocrites but he offers righteousness and consciousness.
This is a piece the Islamic University man can be proud of. Enjoy!
