Dashing gospel songstress, Jael Wiafe has released an inspirational dance track titled “Won’t Give Up,” which features legendary Jamaican reggae dancehall gospel musician Papa San.
The Queen of ‘Trendy Gospel’ secured this ground breaking collaboration a few months ago and the release of the song and video is just the beginning of her journey to spread her message to the world at large.
American based Jamaican gospel artist Papa San already has collaborations with other gospel stalwarts such as Kirk Franklin, Donny Mclurkin, Israel Houghton ,Fred Hammond, Nicole Mullen and many other gospel greats but this song sees him venture into the African market for the first time.
Jael has been quoted as saying on many platforms that her prayer is to one day collaborate with Papa San as she fell in love with his music whilst growing up in England. God answered her prayers as the two of them complimented each other so well on the song.
“Won’t give up” maintains a good amount of energy with the dancehall influence while Jael’s enchanting voice and motivating lyrics keep you captivated.
After making waves with songs such as ‘W’agye Me’ and ‘Adonai’ the gospel singer is now keen to soar further by making a big splash on the international scene and if this video is anything to go by, then Jael Wiafe is definitely on the right path.
