THE SENSATIONAL and versatile Afro-pop, traditional, R&B, Soul and Jazz live music performer, Justice Nhyira, Winner of 2007 ‘Stars of the Future Reality Show’, will finally release his album in August.
According to music industry analysts, it has been a long-wait for the musician’s signature to be written on the sands of Ghana, and indeed Africa’s music terrain.
Justice is being touted by industry players as one of Ghana’s most-talented emerging international music stars. A staunch believer, he says his inspiration for what he sings and does on stage is Jesus.
On this live-recorded single ‘Thank You’, he features ace musician Kwabena Kwabena and some of Ghana’s most seasoned instrumentalists like drummer Francis Osei and Sammy Otoo, a bass guitarist. The track has a mid-tempo Afro pop style, fusing highlife, R&B and contemporary rhythms.
Justice has had his fair share of challenges in life and attributes his strength to stand through these challenges solely to Christ, for which reason he decided to entitle his single track ‘Thank You’, in appreciation of Him.
He makes a clarion call for all who share in his story to join voices with him to sing ‘Thank You’ to the Lord.
Formerly of EKB Records, the record company which also manages Becca, where he was signed on for two years, Justice is currently on ENHYIBA MUSIK.
He is managed by George Akanza, a top executive at one of Ghana’s finest events and artiste management firms, Synergyplatinum.
So splendid and impressive was his performance at the grand finale of the 2008 edition of Charterhouse’s ‘Stars of the Future’ that one could only conclude that the young man is already sailing on the highway to stardom.
His breathtaking stagecraft and vocal abilities are so good that his performances leave you wanting for more.
Versatile as he is, he combines his roles as a minister, singer, instrumentalist (guitarist and a drummer), composer, technical producer, and a vocal trainer effectively. His musical journey has seen him take on music directorship and worship leadership roles with several music groups, eventually ending up with Soul Winners between 2005 and 2007 as the group’s lead vocalist. 2007 also saw him take up the male lead vocalist role with Master Mix Band.
