King Solomon 'Nii Mantse' is Back with 'Alomo taa front'

Nii Okaikoi Tetteh-Quaye, popularly known as King Solomon 'Nii Mantse' is a Ghanaian musician who was born in Accra but currently lives in Enschede, Holland. He is a bass guitarist/ vocalist for the band YAMA YAMA in Holland.

His inspiration as a musician is not far fetched. His late uncles and elder brothers were also musicians. His brother, Joseph-Tetteh-Quaye Ringo (Switzerland) is a guitarist and performed on his latest and previous albums, “alomo taa font” and “fofoi” respectively. His late brother McCarty was also a bass guitarist.

Apart from Music, King Solomon is one of the first Africans to become an installation engineer in the Netherlands from the School of Technology in Enschede Netherland, and Specialised in Central heating, Water, Air Ventilation and Sanitary technician.

“Alomo taa front”, his new album is a successful transmission of traditional content to modern rhythms which is accompanied by a good quality video clip which features Adani Best and Humble lion. “Fofoi,” one of his album tracks was the first African music to place 3rd on Q- music radio chart (a popular Dutch radio station) .

"My music, melodies and texts have an absolutely traditional origin, but in a brilliant way i have adapted to actual dance sounds. This way i am able to release a successful kind of old Ghanaian folk songs with their melody and contents, unintelligibly demanding the ears of the old timers and even the young disco generation" he added

King Solomon’s style of performance, which often involves his audience, is inspired by the number of years he has been in show business . He records over twenty shows per year in Europe and always make sure his fans are satisfied. He usually invites them on stage to join him perform.

According to him, It been long since the release of his last album “fofoi” which was full of love and power but this time there is love, power and awareness on HIV. His fans must therefore be faithful or make sure to put on their condoms before they die due to love.he added.

Nii Mantse is confident of another powerful album if God gives him the Grace.
