The Hiplife star and the king of the street, Kwaw Kesse aka “abodam” was on full flight at this year’s Valco Hall 16th anniversary carnival at the University of Cape Coast.
The programme took place at the forecourt of the Hall. The crowd was massive; “boys boys” and “girls girls” from Atlantic, Kwame Nkrumah, Oguaa, and Casely Hayford Halls came in their numbers to add flavour to the show.
There was good music and thrill through out the show. It lasted eight hours from 7pm to 2am.Those who did not have the stamina fell out and left behind the strong and the determined.
Kwaw Kesse performed a rendition of his hit track “Nonsense” and some of his latest hit. His stagecraft was fantastic.
He did entertain the crowd to the maximum, students who couldn’t get a place at the forecourt to watch the show stood at their balconies to watch.
Andy Dosty of Angel FM in Kumasi was the DJ for the night. He really proved why he is the number one DJ in the Garden City; his mixes were flawless.
Apart from good music at the programme, there was a lot to eat and drink.
The only colour one could see at the show was yellow; the traditional colour of Valco Hall. The sound quality from Paakowtronic sounds was excellent.
The MC for the night was Francis Kyereboah aka DJ Light who is also the Publicity Chairman of the Hall.
