A musical extravaganza will be held at the National Theatre on Saturday, January 24 to inaugurate a new record label, Lisarf Music, which is aimed at unearthing talented musicians in the country.
The event will also mark the launching of the company?s maiden production a hiplife/highlife album composed and arranged by Omama Agyei. The 10 - song work dubbed, Sleeping Tablet is a cocktail of hiplife and contemporary highlife songs. Admission is free.
The guest artistes expected to perform at the inaugural show include Papa She,ee, Ofori Amponsah, KK Kabobo, Randy Nunoo, Kofi B, Nkasei, the Tagoe Sisters and Esuafuo.
According to the management of Lisarf Music, there are a number of good musical materials in the country who need a little push to make it big. Lisarf has come to lend a helping hand to such people as well as all Ghanaian artistes.
