Accra, Feb. 27, GNA - Gospel music minister and preacher, Stephanie Adenyo, known in gospel music circles as Selawe, is set to release her second single titled, ‘Show me How’; a song that reflects Christians’ need for guidance and direction.
A statement issued to the GNA ahead of the release of the single on 28th February 2019, said the song reflected the need for the Christian community to provide the needed guidance and direction, not only through sermons literature but importantly through music.
‘Show Me How’, will provide inspiration for both believers and the unsaved, who are seeking an intimate relationship with God.
The lyrics of the song, according to the statement, were primarily borne out of the desire to reciprocate the love of God experienced through the gift of salvation. Further lyrical expansion is inspired by the Psalms, with pieces of other Biblical references relevant to the theme.
“It is in a worship tune, sang in typical urban English with a soothing and almost raw instrumentation. The instrumentation only guides the song and does not obscure the lyrics. The purpose is to have listeners feeding more on the lyrics and inspiration in the whole production, more than anything else,” the statement said.
‘Show Me How’ is the second of a series of singles, covers and medleys to be released under “TheJourneyProject”, headlined by Selawe.
Stephanie’s journey into music stems from a deep love for the propagation of the gospel of Jesus Christ and has for the past eight years, used her voice and ministrations to advance this cause. After first releasing ‘Only He Knows’ in 2011, she has gone on to do the cover for Cindy Thompson's ‘Kyere Me’ and has ministered at various gospel programmes and church events as often as she is graciously given the opportunity.
