Nana Fremah Set To Release First Album

Wow, it has finally happened! It's been a long wait, but one of Ghana’s most beautiful and talented singers, Nana Fremah, is ready to take the step to add a voice and a name to the hi-life industry.

This most highly-anticipated soon to-be released album entitled “Jackpot” has been predicted to be if not the best, one of the best albums of our time.

Whilst sipping champagne in a cozy sofa, soft-spoken Nana Fremah, the designated first lady of hi-life told Dondoweb.com how excited she is to release her first album. ”I cannot wait to release this album because I think that I have a lot to offer”, she said. “There have been many good artists in this hi-life industry but I think the best is about to come”, Nana added.

Having been born in Ghana, Adabraka, Accra to be precise, the Ashanti-Akuapem diva moved to the United States at the age of 6. Her talent singled her out and she was chosen to lead some of the songs in the choir----which is quite an accomplishment. Her soft and beautiful voice drew people to Church every Sunday.

Growing up in the Bronx where peer pressure plays a vital role in many people’s lives, Nana found refuge at a stable home where family values were ensured. “Thank God that I grew up in a home where my parents instilled values in us?. these values gave me directions and kept my dream of becoming a singer one day alive” the diva said.

The New York based diva, on adding a voice to the pirating problems that has partially crippled sales in the music industry pleaded to the music fans to support artists and refrain from duplicating songs.

She said that artists are able to produce quality and meaningful songs due to the support of the fans. But if that support system is taken away, it will become complicated for artists to produce quality music.

"I think that real music fans are prepared to prove their loyalty and support their favorite artists, ?.. I do know that fans are not the enemy, they're the backbone of what we all do." Nana said. "I'm certain that a vast majority of the people who are bootlegging the music are going to want the real thing when my music comes out soon." She added.

The 10-track album “Jackpot” which is scheduled to be release only weeks away features artists like Roro, Nana K2 and 18C. Including her parents, Nana has greatly been inspired by genius like Kojo Antwi, darling boy K. K. Fosu, Ghana’s own Nana Quame and Kontihene.

When asked how she feels about her first album, she replied that every song on the album is seriously good. "To be perfectly honest, I think every song on the album is a hit material, and I strongly feel that the fans will equally like every song," she said. "I am really hyped up to release the album because I know that I have excellent songs for the fans,” she added.

The best is yet to come seem to be the theme of this album. Stay tuned.
