Nigeria's Reekado Banks, Mavins dance to Pataapa’s 'One Corner'

It seems the one corner fever has hit many diaspora as Nigeria's record label Mavin crew also exhibited their one corner challenge and shared it via social media.

The song originated from Ghana in Agona Swedru [Central Region] by Kwabena Gyan aka Pataapa is the talk of town currently with his One Corner Fever. He released the hit song “One Corner” ahead of their Swedru Akwambo festival.

Released barely months ago the song “One Corner” has made huge wave as Reekado Banks a member of the Mavin and team gave their gymnastics dance moves with Pataapa’s “One Corner”.

The ‘Oluwa Ni’ hitmaker took to his social media [Instagram] and posted the video with lauds of comments as the CEO of the record label popularly known as Don Jazy also reposted the video with the caption “Soooo this is what you people are doing in the studio when I’m not around. I’m coming. #Repost @reekadobanks???The #OneCorner virus hit us while in the studio. We couldn’t resist it”.

Scores of celebrities have cautioned Ghanaians how risky it’s dancing to Pataapa’s “One Corner” song.

Gospel Singer Sonnie Badu acknowledged the efforts of Patapaa, the performer of the song, and called on stakeholders to assist the youngster to achieve his goals.

According to him “In fact, it’s a good trend. Once in a while, good trends are interesting. We had ‘the ladder’, ‘two throwing’, ‘kpakpakpa’… This could be an interesting trend that started in Swedru; nobody is taking away the young man’s hard work. It is his time to shine but we have to make sure that if we know it’s his time to shine, then lets people who know they can help this guy, help him,” he averred.
