Directed by Dream Weaver Entertainment Production Pictures, Hip hop artiste, Obibini has released video to his debut single, ‘My story’ featuring Bisa KDei.
'My Story' was officially released in 2013 by Obibini featuring Bisa K Dei, which talks about his struggles before seeing the limelight and assuring his fans of his come to fulfill his mission as a Hip Hop artiste and as well educate the youth through his music.
Obibini is under the management of Toontoom Records, headed by Africa’s number one DJ, DJ Black, who has recorded a mixtape on the Hip hop artiste was released earlier in the second quarter of the year.
Obibini, better known in real life as Kwaku Boafo, started singing in his room unlike almost every Ghanaian musician who started singing in church when he or she was a child and eventually decided to join the music industry when they matured.
Obibini, instead of singing in church, he rather grew up listening to the records of Reggie Rockstone, Obrafour, Outcast and Busta Rhymes in his room way back during his childhood days.
Even before officially releasing his debut single, he had a wide fan base who at a point in time felt he has kept long in being an underground artiste since they knew his capabilities and where ready to support his music.
He is of the believe that GH Hip hop music will grow should people invest in the genre. Obibini hopes to collaborate with well-established artistes including Reggie Rockstone, Obrafour, Samini, Sarkodie, Trigmatic, Stonebwoy, Manifest, Asem, EL and Chimney Crane among other upcoming artistes.
