GB: Who is Obour?
Obuor: Obour is a born and bread Ghanaian.

GB: Where were you born?
Obuor: I was born in Kumasi.

GB:  Where do you come from?
Obuor:  I'm from Kumasi.

GB: Your educational background?
Obuor:  I actually began my education in Kumasi and came to Soul klinik international in Accra, had my secondary education at Mfantsipim School and now a final year student at the University of Ghana.

GB: When did your profession begin?
Obuor: I've begun singing for some time now and it all started from church.   I used to    lead the youth choir, we composed our own says and sang them.

GB: What have been the challenges in you carriers?
Obuor: There have actually been a few challenges with producers and convincing people to accept your music is another challenge.  I also had a problem with my dad when I began my music career because I had then just finished school and it was quite difficult to convince the old man.

GB: Your most satisfactory achievement?
Obuor: I would say something that I achieved for myself that was in 2001 when I received three awards in the Ghana Music Awards. I told myself it could stay on the charts. My tour and the number of copies I've sold shows.

GB: Are you married?
Obuor: No, I'm single

GB: Any regrets in life?
Obuor: I'm one person who believes in the principle whatever happens is the will of God.  I'm down with whatever bad moment I was in when my album first came out, I performed at Wenchi and people rejected strongly my identity, they said it wasn't Or, we just had to stay back to avoid being lynched by the crowd.

GB: What do you want to do after  your present profession?
Obuor: I want to open my arms wide to embrace showbiz as an industry.

GB: What are your hobbies?
Obuor: I spend my leisure times talking on my phone I also reply my mails.
GB: Favourite food?
Obuor: Banku with?????? (Guess) anyone who gets this right wins 2 cassettes.

GB: Role model?
Obuor: I like Reggie, I like Tic Tac, I like his enthusiasm, I like his force but, internationally, I love Wyclef.

GB: Dislikes about your job?
Obuor: It prevents me from doing what I actually wanna do, I can't go to church because they will go like ?look at Obour, he's in church with all those lyrics he used in his songs I just wish I had a mask to cover up my face.

GB: If you were to travel. Where would be your first location?
Obuor: I wouldn't travel because of the location but to learn something from the people, I love to be in Jamaica, I love their language, I love the way their ladies dance, I love a few of their beliefs.

GB:  Your parting words?
Obuor: Last year I had a campaign on road safety so lets all live to see what 2005 has to offer us.
