Paapa Yankson Stages A Come Back

The Osekan Seaside Resort will be electrified again as the highlife legend, Paapa Yankson is billed to thrill fans to round off the Republic Day Celebration.

The event dubbed ??Weekend Republic Show? is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 4th. This is being put together by Amishadai Promotions. It shall also feature other seasoned performers such as sensational Wulomei, Sappers Band, Prekese Int. Band, Ivy Stone and the Twisters Cultural Troupe including the new hiplife sensational, 10 pesewas.

According to Paapa Yankson, he is dedicating this show to all Ghanaians, especially to his numerous fans who are yearning to see him perform the Western Styles and rhythms, and promised they will see the best of him and will never be disappointed.

As promised during their Easter Monday Bash, the event organiser, Amsheki Oppong Kwakye said the total package for the two-day weekend gig is to give an opportunity to the lovers of good and quality music to really have fun. The everlasting sensational Wulomei led by their new dynamic leader, Brother Ashitey, will also use the platform to dish out a repertoire from their old and new tunes, which are yet to be released.

Those who were at the Easter Monday Bash can testify to the fact that only lady on the bill, Ivy Stone, really proved that she is a gem. The lady singer known for her smart outfits and excellent stage craftsmanship will be supported by her Prekese Int. Band.

The youth will not be left out, as the new hiplife sensation 10 Pesewas will storm the place with songs from their latest CD, Odotuo. The two young stars based in the UK are currently in town rehearsing seriously towards this show since Osekan will be their second appearance after returning from Boti Falls with a number of popular artistes on the bill. The organisers have promised that the two-day show will be nothing short of but a total package and a quality show business.
