After going on an almost three-year hiatus, radio personality Papa Destiny is back playing a role in hit TV series, ‘Opha K’.
‘Opha K’ shows on TV3 on Thursdays. It used to be on GTV but it now airs on TV3 and features some of the best hilarious characters in Ghana’s sitcom industry.
An episode of the series a couple of weeks ago unveiled the man who used to be called the polyglot on radio and he didn’t disappoint his fans at all.
It is unclear if he will continue to be in the series; however, indications are that Papa Destiny, born Frank Senanu Ashiadey, is eying a full-time movie career in the not-too-distant feature. Destiny, a broadcast journalist, used to be one of the finest chaps on the radio.
He once worked with radio stations like Obuorba FM, Jubilee Radio at Keta, Goodnews FM at Takoradi, Choice FM, Asempa FM, Hitz FM, many others and speaks more than eight dialects.
But he went off the scene for a while as a result of schooling. Currently, he is in his final year at Knutsford University College at East Legon, Accra, just behind Mensvic Hotel.
“Definitely he won’t hesitate for movie career because Destiny loves attention. Just that he talks too much because of his radio background,” a source told NEWS-ONE.
