Printex hosts Becca B-day bash at Boom

BeccaIt was a night of excitement, funky-filled and the dress code was white and gold on Saturday at the Boomerang Nite Club when Becca celebrated her birthday and also officially unveiled her maiden album “Sugar” to the general public.


The party which was sponsored by printex producers of quality African prints attracted a tall line-up of some of the nation; finest artistes, tv and radio personalities as well as family and friends.


Apart from providing all the necessary items needed for the party,printex also donated a cash prize of 23 million cedis as well as 23 million cedis worth of the company’s product .She also received cartoons of kalypo fruit drinks.


The beautiful, simple and young looking 23 year old lady, an old student of Wesley Girls High School in Cape Coast and Croydon College in London arrived in a white luxurious car spotting white and gold outfit with a bag to blend with.


She got into the club as she shares ‘hugs and kisses’ with her friends and colleagues who have come to support her celebrate and to launch her album. Some notable people who were present at the function to give Becca moral support were KOD, BB Menson, the virus, Moro Awudu of Citi fm, Ofori Amponsah, Nana Fynn, Wutah, Irene and Jane, Chemphe, Joe of Mentor II fame, Ramzy and her sweet lovely manageress Lawrencia Duah.


According to her producer, Mr. Kiki Banson, his outfit EKB Records decided to collaborate with Boomerang Night Club to fete their artiste on this special occasion because this year happens to be a unique one in Becca’s life. He said “Sugar” has been in the mill for about a year and a half now and it is ready for the rest of the world to hear.


Anyone who has had the opportunity to see Becca live in action will attest to the fact that she is not only ready to take the local music industry by storm, but is also capable of mounting a stage anywhere in the world and would compete favorably with internationally-acclaimed music stars and it was no different at the Boomerang Nite Club when the diva mount the stage to perform.


Indeed, she has been groomed into a complete entertainer who does not only possess a sweet silky-voice, but also knows how and when to make her fans happy as they dance and sing along with her making the night an enjoyable one.


Her album which has 12 songs on CD and eight on cassette, boasts of tracks such as, You Lied To Me” (1 and 2), featuring Kwabena Kwabena, “Sugar”, and Heybaa, which featured Partan.  The others are, “Why, Girls Girls” and “Hello” both sang in Twi, “Heaven, “Naughty Girl”, I don’t know you”, and other interesting songs. She also featured Ayisoba on her album. Rebecca Acheampong later cuts her 23rd birthday cake together with her producer, colleagues and friends.
