The name Chemphe means ?Okyemani Ye Fe? literally meaning a good distributor who gives out beautifully. He later connects it to his music that he is benevolently giving out good music to people.
At a young age, the lyrical and musical talent that Chemphe possesses is something else. With the album on the shelves of music shops, Chemphe is prepared himself to join the stardom train. "For now I want my urban life music to cross boundaries", he said.
Now riding on the success of ?No Pampana?, Chemphe can confidently say he is the true voice of urban life music.
A master in the art of storytelling in love, Chemphe explains further that ?No Pampana? is about being serious in a relationship; simple no hide and seek games.
When asked if the song is a real story or a personal thing that happened to him. Chemphe said, "Half way real life stories and the rest are fabricated ones. The bottom line is I just want listeners to feel the vibe of my songs run through their soul".
Chemphe was born Henry Agyekum Chemphe having his education at 1st Baptist, Ghana National College and later to NIIT to study Computer Programming. During his stay in 1st Baptist, he was leading his choir and later developed the skills in rapping and singing with a group called Outrageous.
Actually, the desire of being a singer took roots within his heart after he finished his computing course at NIIT, thus landed him into recording ?No Pampana?.
For some years, he kept standing behind the scene to compose great lyrics for Nana Fynn and yet to be released songs.

All songs on the album are all based on love issues except one, which is a gospel song. Two songs are sang in English with the others been sang in Twi.
