Sonnie Badu records live 4th Album

After producing and rehearsing for over 5 months, African gospel music icon Sonnie Badu has executed the live recording of his upcoming 4th album, dubbed an “African Gospel in Classical Hymns and Songs”.

Right from camera works, lightening, sound, directing, organization to sitting arrangements, Sonnie and his crew made sure everything went according to plan.

The event which attracted over 2000 audiences saw worshippers Jumbo, Dare David, Blessing Ali, Jamel Evans and the PCE Crew in attendance. Nigeria’s finest comedian Jedi, who was the M.C. for the night thrilled fans with his comic gift.

Three American guest artistes; Jonathan Nelson, Darwin Hobbs and Dee Jones delivered powerful tunes to sustain the tempo.

Things reached a crescendo when Minister Sonnie mounted the stage and led the flock taking them through 30 different songs backed by the Maryland choir.

The new husband elevated the temperature in the room when he invited his darling, Mrs. Annie Badu for the first time to join him sing a couple of his songs.
