Victoria Sarfo Outdoor Nhyira

The Prempeh Assembly Hall in Kumasi will on Sunday witness a gathering of gospel stars as Kumasi based gospel musician Victoria Sarfo launches her fourth album, entitled Nhyira.

The album by Victoria, who is also a beautician, has soul inspiring tunes including Awurade Apagya Ne Nsa, Okyeso Nyame, Eye Awurade Adom and others.

The album launch will be parade some of the most notable gospel musicians of our time who are all poised to help their colleague have a wonderful show on Sunday.

Some of the great singers billed to perform on the afternoon include the sensational gospel performer Prophet Seth Frimpong, gospel rapper DJ Azigiza Jnr. award winning artistes Esther Smith, Kwaku Gyasi, Gifty Agyemang Prempeh, Fire Sisters, Sylvia Pinaman, Moses OK and Eternal Praise Junior Choir.

The line-up of artistes also include converted musician Akosua Adjepong, new gospel chart buster Sandra Oduro, Ama Boahema, Hannah Marfo, Francis Agyei, Dinah Hammond, Fred Oware Jnr., veteran performer Prof. Kofi Abraham and many other gospel performers.

Nana Kwaku Sarfo, who happens to be the husband and manager of Victoria, said he was sure that they would have a great show on Sunday. 'We are assuring everybody that all the artistes mentioned on the bill will be present to treat patrons to some of the best gospel songs in Ghana today,' he said.

Mrs. Sarfo's first album was released in 1991 and it was entitled Onwanwani Jesus. She did this album together with former Kapital Radio presenter Mrs. Pat Anthony. Six years after releasing her debut she came out with the second album titled Jesus Akasa, which had songs like Onsesa Da and Efata Wo.

In the year 2001 she came out with her third album, which she named Enye Mea. It also had tracks like Ontonko and Awurade Bue Pono with which she toured some 21 states in America last year.
