Danish side of Ghanaian Forward Reggie Agbeko Horsens IC is in line to win a third straight league title in Denmark’s top flight basketball competition. The team clinched the 2015 and 2016 league titles but its attempts to win a third title in consecutive years has not gone according to plan.

Horsens trail Berkken 0-2 in the league final series heading to Game 3 which takes place on Thursday May 3; Horsens need to win to avoid falling further adrift of the league.

Missing the title will be a hard blow for Ghana’s Agbeko who joined the side ahead of this season after graduating from St.Louis University in 2017.

He averaged 8.6 points and 6.8 rebounds in his final season at St. Louis but went undrafted in the 2017 NBA Draft before joining the Danish side.

He signed a two year deal with the team and has registered four points in Games One and Two while seeing his minutes increase from 12 to 19.

For the regular season, Agbeko averaged 8.3 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. He is one of many Ghanaians including Ben Bentil plying their trade in Europe.
