Ghana Technology University College (GTUC) Male Basketball Team will be competing in this year’s Private Universities Sports Association Games (PUSAG).
The team is set to be in action later today in the tournament which ends on Friday April 6 at the Paa Joe Stadium in Kumasi.
However, the team will be back in competition six days after in the Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship.
GTUC has progressed to the national competition stage of the 2018 UPAC and has been drawn in Group A; the UPAC national games take place at University of Ghana (UG) from April 12-14.
Ghana Technology has been drawn alongside host UG, Takoradi Technical University and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
With the exception of GTUC, the remaining members of the group have played in the semifinals in previous editions.
A strong run in Kumasi this week could prove big for Ghana Technology’s quest to upset the odds and become one of two teams to qualify from UPAC’s Group B.
